Research Area

My research focuses on the development of new experimental approaches for low cost optical diagnostic devices for water quality applications. More specifically, it involves applying Machine Learning techniques to identify characteristic wavelengths from spectral absorption data. These wavelengths are used to decide the right LD-PD pairs in the design. The research finally aims at a viable low-cost solution that can work as a handy replacement for expensive benchtop lab instruments. While my current research is interdisciplinary and applied in nature, I am also interested in Digital Circuits and Systems.
